It's been a while...

Hello everyone,
It's been a while since I've made a blog post....but a quick update here..I've lost a total of 20lbs. I am feeling wonderful, I still have more to work on....but it will come with time...
I also have some other pretty exciting news...i'm going back to work in the fall!!! My youngest is starting school...so back to work I go!
Should be an interesting change!
Hopefully i'll be able to stick to my exercise routine and everything...
I hope to hear from some of you soon...armorchick is long gone..she hasn't posted in forever...it makes me kind of sad...i wish she'd check in and let us know how she is doing...

Hi everyone,
I have unfortunately failed to post a blog in like 1 month and a half. YIKES! My bad! I'm really going to need to remind myself to write blog entries more frequently. Enough with that,
the past few months have been GREAT for me. I have lost a pretty significant amount of weight, I feel great and I think that I'm looking pretty good too :P
Will update soon on how I managed to get on track and do this!

Hi Members!
Well here I am a few weeks since my last blog post. I've had some really healthy days and some really not so healthy days.... my weight has gone back up quite a bit and it's time for me to buckle down. So for this, I am going to start a contest with myself. How much weight can I lose in 2 months. My challenge will begin February 15th and end April 15th! Follow my blog to find out how I am doing!

The last week of January is here! Wowsers! Since my last blog post I have lost another 2 pounds! Wahoooooooo-wooo-wooo! For a total of 6 pounds. I have made a few trips to the library and picked up some books about healthy eating and exercising. It has been really mild here for January today. I'm confused as to what mother nature is doing, it doesn't even feel like winter! I might even go for an outdoor jog if the rain holds up! We shall see!

As January flies by...

Hey HWC friends,
Just checking in to point out how quickly January is going! I am still working hard on my goals and have lost about 4 pounds since my last blog. YAY for me! Doing my best to eat well, limit my calories and limit junk food... I just find the winter makes me want to eat soooooo much! I'm always in the mood to cuddle up on the couch with a blanket and a nice snack. Gonna have to make sure those snacks are healthier if I want to shed a few more pounds and keep it off!
If anyone else experiences the winter blues let me know.....I hope I'm not alone on this one!

Finally back after such a long break!

Hey everyone,
Well, here I am, making my return! After a few weeks away from the blog. I got super caught up with the holiday preps and everything. And this week has been pretty hectic too, just trying to get the family back into our usual routine! I'm not gonna lie, the holidays got the best of me...i put on a few pounds......
That being said, January is a new beginning, a time to go for it! Work on myself and say a final goodbye to those pounds. I won't miss them much....
I think I'm gonna start going to the gym 3-4 days a week, and really watching my nutrition...
What is anyone else doing to get back on track? How are you guys losing your weight?

Here I go again, this week just slipped through my fingers. The holiday season can really take over and make us quite busy! Although I have been unable to write a blog post since last Saturday I have been working hard on my weight goals. I exercised a few times this week..and the hustle and bustle i'm sure counts for some physical activity too.
Anyone have any suggestions on good gifts for someone trying to lose weight? My sister has decided she too wants to set some goals. What would be a good gift that would get her started but not be insulting... a cookbook with healthy recipes? Workout clothes?

Oops, I got really busy

Hey everyone,
I really do want to try writing a blog every few days. I was really busy this week, the kids xmas concert at school, pot-lucks and my friends b-day so I"ve been lagging a bit. I've been doing quite well despite the busy schedules. I've been making health conscious meals with good meat and lots of veggies. This has given me more energy to do all my errands. I've also started trying to eat smaller portions but better quality foods. I've lost 2 more pounds this week. Getting closer and closer to my goal. My biggest fear today is the next 3 weeks. XMAS, NEW YEARS, several xmas parties...... yikes! Any ideas on making a low fat gravy? Mashed sweet potatoes? Low-calorie desserts? Any help would be much appreciated. Hope to be back sooner than later....

My 2nd blog post- weekends can be hard

Hey all,
Here I am, it's my second blog post. Still trying to sort out exactly how I'm going to use this. Whether i'm going to keep track of things on here or just discuss how i'm feeling and progress i'm making. So here goes, up to date I've lost around 15 pounds. And i've gone down about 1 dress size sometimes 2 depending on the store. I am noticing that the weekends become soooo difficult to stick with exercising and eating well. Especially because there have been holiday parties and we've been really busy. I will get back on track tomorrow and hopefully this weekend doesn't set me back too much.

Hey all!
It's Bee here. Well, I have just come to discover this blog feature and figured it would be worth a try to start using it. I'll probably use this like a journal. I'll write about what I'm doing, how my body is responding and general thoughts. Feel free to read along and of course comment!!! I'm rea;lly excited I found this because this gives me another way of releasing my frustrations with my weight and just write about what I want! So here we goooooo, i'm jumping on this "blog" bandwagon and invite you all to think about doing the same! We can maybe learn more about each other that way....
