Welcome LJ, I can totally relate to the feeling of being tired of yourself. You are taking a huge step in the right direction, it's time for you to feel so good about yourself!
Take control girl! You can do this, let's do it together!

Hello LJ and welcome to the group.
Congratulations on being smoke-free. I know that quitting smoking is not an easy addiction/habit to quit. I’ve also quit smoking over 3 years ago.
When I had quit smoking I had told myself N.O.P.E Not One Puff Ever!
Afterwards like you I had to stop blaming that on for my weight gain. I even still blamed having two kids on my belly fat and they are now 15 and 22 lol
This time I told myself N.O.P.E Not One Poor Excuse ever.
When we’ve quit smoking it took action and perseverance and we just need to start doing the same now. Oh I know we just can’t SAY NO to food but we surely can eat healthier and exercise! Once step at a time.
Now about losing weight the result are not always instant but when we stick to it the results sure are noticeable.
You’ve successfully quit smoking, I know you can do this. When your mind is ready and made up you can achieve anything!
Best of luck to you we are all here to offer support.
